About the Laredo Women’s City Club.

Founded in 1949, the Laredo Women’s City Club has a rich history of service and leadership. The founding members of WCC established a firm club foundation for community service and provided an outstanding example to all present-day members that WCC really can make a difference! Our members are trailblazers in their professions and dedicated volunteers in their community. The Club’s legacy is built on a foundation of strong values, collaborations, and a relentless drive to make Laredo a better place for all its residents. The same “spirit” that was alive in 1949 continues to be strong with each new year because of the “common bond” that all members of WCC share in wanting to support and improve the community in which we live.

Presidents Message:

As the current president for this wonderful organization, I am proud to share that it is my second two-year term with these beautiful ladies. I had the pleasure to serve as president for the 70th Anniversary and now for the 75th Diamond Anniversary. What a legacy this organization has had and continues to have. We have disbursed over $200,000 to various agencies in our community. Every year we start with a balance of Zero and take up the challenge to start all over again. Let’s continue the sisterhood and legacy of the ladies in pink.
